Accessibility at Pipalo

Updated October 19, 2026. This statement covers the Pipalo website, the parent app, and the children’s browser games at playpipalo.com.

We want every child and parent, including people with disabilities, to be able to use Pipalo. Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and we use it as our standard for designing and testing new features. This is a goal we are working toward, not a claim that every page or game has been independently audited or certified.

Available features

Known limitations

Some learning activities teach visual recognition, colors, shapes, or remembering pictures. Text descriptions and untimed controls help, but we haven’t yet verified an equivalent experience for every visual task with blind users. The animated pet and some decorative game scenes don’t have detailed audio descriptions. If anything keeps you or your child from using Pipalo, please contact us and we’ll help find an alternative.

How we test

Feedback and requests for help

If you have trouble using any part of Pipalo, or want to request an accommodation or content in an alternative format, contact the Pipalo team at hello@playpipalo.com.

Please tell us the page or game, what you were trying to do, and how you’d like us to reply. You can also mention your browser or assistive technology if that helps. Please don’t send children’s personal information.

Response time: we aim to reply to every accessibility request within 5 business days and will work with you to provide the information or service you need in an accessible way.
